As we expected, we are still quite a ways behind you (Somerset, KY), but reading your blog is fantastic, seeing your photos, recognizing experiences that we have shared with you. We saw your polaroid in the photo album at the Cookie Lady's, we saw your names in Cecil's log in Troutville (looks like he took you guys to Country Cookin' as well!). We've been thinking of you both as we follow you to Nashville. We've now left our Adventure Cycling maps (we'll pick up with them again after Nashville). We're winging it with a Kentucky highway map, but it should be pretty simple. Don't know when exactly we'll get to Nashville but it shouldn't be too long. Are you still there? Of course, we are scrounging for a place to sleep, as usual, wondering if you could help us out. But we would also just love to say hi and share some stories in person. Don't bother emailing as we rarely check it, but please give us a call whenever you feel like it! Love from your slower but very determined friends, Rowan (206) 909 2504 Lisa (206) 694 9504 You made it!

What an adventure and as your brother said on his blog it is tough not to be envious as hell. An old professor of mine said, "95% of the people are good; the other 5%- Shits." Nice that you are meeting people from the majority.. A single speed bike has the advantage of presenting fewer technical glitches but you have to be a tough guy to ride it on the climbs. Good going Anthony! Love you! DAD Alexa and St. Anthony,

I missed you both the minute I left Bethany's Spring. Please do keep in touch. Alexa - I read the last 3 chapters of the Merton book - would love to hear your reaction. Micah (OT) says -"Do justice. Love kindness. Walk humbly with God". You are in my prayers. Kathy Anthony and Alexa -

I wanted to give you a heads up on our MS Ride. I raised a total of $4700.00+ to help fight MS. The weather was the best it has ever been in 12 years. Deb was a real Trooper. She rode 76+ miles across New Jersey. It took Deb and I about 8+ hours to reach Ocean City. My brother Bruce, his daughter Brynn, her girlfriends Tara and Chris rode back the next morning. We took the bus. We all had a wonderful time and plan on doing it again next year. Hope to send you pictures soon. Take care , give each other a hug, and Bike, Bike,Bike.
